- Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas Founders of Zentangle Sunday Zentangle! Sunday3pm - 4 ish; $Free Join us Sunday on Zoom to tangle! Everybody is welcome to join, no experience necessary. Space is limited and full payment is required at time of booking to reserve your spot. Classes will be canceled with full refund if less then three students register. A full refund will be provided if you cancel within four days before class. To register for a class please email [email protected] Classes will begin on time, please arrive early. Refreshments will be provided. Classes are held in my home studio, with a minimum of three, maximum of seven students. I am also available to travel to your location or event, for a minimum of three students. Special rates available for groups of ten or more. |
Class Information
1) Introduction to the Zentangle Method - 3 hours - $40 per person "Anything is possible one stroke at a time" Learn about the elemental strokes, history, and process behind drawing with the Zentangle method. All materials included (your kit will contain five luxurious Italian paper tiles, two Sakura micron pens, pencil, tortillion, all enclosed in a handy travel pouch) 2) Exploring the Zentangle Method - 3 hours - $40 per person Prerequisite- Introduction to the Zentangle Method Add to your tangle library, while learning to tangle using white marking tools on black tiles. Please bring your kit form class 1 For this class you will receive additional materials (five black paper tiles, Sakura jelly roll pen, zenstone, Fabrico dual marker, white charcoal pencil, tortillion) 3) Traverse the Zentangle Method - 3 hours - $40 per person Prerequisite- Class 1 Travel the romanticism of the Renaissance through the technique of chiaroscuro. In this class you will explore light and dark transitions on tan Renaissance tiles while actively highlighting your whites and shading your darks. Please bring your kits from classes 1 and 2* For this class you will receive additional materials (five tan tiles, two Zendala tiles, brown Sakura micron pen and tortillion) *Additional supplies required to purchase if you have not taken class 2 4) Zentangle Inspired Art - ZIA - 6 hours - $60 per person Prerequisite- Class 1 Create a beautiful scenic ZIA inspired from your imagination or landscape photo. Please bring all your Zentangle supplies and lunch Class will included all additional supplies required to complete your ZIA masterpiece. 5) Beyond the Basics - 3 hours - $40 per person (Free if you have taken classes 1 through 4) Prerequisite- Class 1 Learn to morph a tangle into a tangleation by adding or subtracting details while changing form and structure. Creating your own statement and style. Please bring your Zentangle kit Class will include all additional materials required 6) Tangle Together - 2 hours - $15 per person Prerequisite- Class 1 Tangle Together is an informal/unstructured tangling class where we get together to share and learn from each other. For Tangle Together I supply a ZIA project and instruction to tangle. In the past months we have tangled pumpkins, mini frames, boxes, Christmas ornaments and shoes.
