December 3- Introduction to Zentangle 1:00 pm - 4:00pm "Anything is possible one stroke at a time" Learn about the elemental strokes, history, and process behind drawing with the Zentangle method. -$40 December 5- Tangle Together 5:00pm - 7:00pm Tangle Together is an informal/unstructured tangling class where we get together to share and learn from each other. - $15 December 10 - *New Class Zentangle Fabrics* 1:00pm - 4:00pm Fabrics, ribbons and knits. Let's draw fabric motifs! Space is limited and full payment is required at time of booking to reserve your spot. Classes will be canceled with full refund if less then three students register. Tangle Open House!
We know that sometimes it is hard to find the time to tangle, so let's set a date and tangle together on Sunday, November 26th. Drop in throughout the day to tangle; have fun with some old favourites, explore some of the new tangles, and enjoy refreshments. All are welcome, no experience necessary! Join us for quick make and takes, that will have everyone enjoying the zentangle process. Product will be available for sale, along with gift cards for lessons! I can't believe that we are into May already wasn't it not just January yesterday? Time just seems to fly by. Lunch and Refreshment will be served! (Please let us know upon registration if the is any food allergies) Please bring all your Zentangle supplies. Please register in advance for classes. I have had the great honour of teaching several Zentangle Classes over the past month! The grade 2's through eight's at Lady Mackenzie P.S. blew my expectations out the roof, what a wonderful experience. And to my tangle together group on June 19th, it was a pleasure working with new and returning students. I just completed three classes at the Bowmanville Older Adult Association, and look forward to be coming back in the fall! Spring is in the air and summer is just around the corner! So let's get together and plan a time to learn some new tangles. Sunday, February 21 - Special Offer* Introduction to the Zentangle Method, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Exploring the Zentangle Method, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm * For this day only we are offering the first two classes for $60.00, a $20.00 savings. Come with a packed lunch for a day full of Zentangle. March Classes Sunday, March 6 - Traverse the Zentangle Method 1-4 pm - $40 Travel the romanticism of the Renaissance through the technique of chiaroscuro. In this class you will explore light and dark transitions on tan Renaissance tiles while actively highlighting your whites and shading your darks. Sunday, March 13- Zentangle Inspired Art 9:00 am- 4:00 pm - $60 Create a beautiful scenic ZIA inspired from your imagination or landscape photo. Sunday, March 20- Beyond the Basics 1-4pm - $40 Learn to morph a tangle into a tangleation by adding or subtracting details while changing form and structure. Creating your own statement and style. In the month of December I would like to open my studio to welcome new and returning students for a Tangle Together session. Tangle Together is an informal/unstructured tangling class where we get together to share and learn from each other. For Tangle Together I supply a ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) project and instructions to tangle. On Sunday, December 13 from 1-3pm, and Tuesday, December 15 from 7-9pm, for 15 dollars per person, you will be able to create a ornament for your holiday collection.
